The Civil Service Employees Association has been instrumental in achieving a variety of benefits for LFUCG employees. Whether working solo or in conjunction with other groups, CSEA has accomplished some of the following:
• 2 swing Holidays to use at your discretion
• Funeral leave extended to include in-laws and step relatives
• On-call (pager) pay
• Hazard duty pay
• Supported Inversion Pay
• 4 hours of CPL for blood donation
• Supported World-At-Work increase
• Finding jobs for employees facing potential lay-offs
• Kept a state bill LFUCG proposed from becoming law that would have depleted a number of civil rights from employees.
• Assisted in rewriting the accident policy to ensure fairness for all employees.
